Walx Ver Valley Nordic Walking

in Veneto, the land of Venice

In early June, seven of us from Ver Valley Walx visited Julie and her team in Bassano.
Little did we know what awaited us, but we soon found out - beautiful scenery, great walks, friendly hosts, and good food.
On our first day we  walked along the River Brenta, into Bassano and had a picnic by the river.
Following days included a walk into the hills and over to Marostica, the train into Venice for an educational walk around the main sites and on the last day a walk around the walled town of Cittadella.
Thanks to Julie and her team for a wonderful time and great walks in some beautiful parts of Italy. We came away feeling that we had made new friends and looked forward to when they would visit us so we could return the hospitality.
